We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Add more values to the drinking man? Looking a bit like flat paper man there lol oh yeah and he reminds me of Freddy Krueger!! XDD A brighter red light plus mist or fog or smoke would make the alleyway look more dodgy and creepier, but the title is whisper city and the way you make it is just nice and subtle so it fits.

I've been looking at a lot of these digital paintings recently and just absorbing the details and such, because I would like to get into myself. I wanted to ask about something though. In a lot of digital paintings I've noticed there is this hazy misty type effect. Sometimes it's a separate entity(for example it looks like it's mist or smoke in the picture), and other times it's like a texture applied to surfaces of walls and concrete, or sometimes even metal. Is that a function of the program or is that a post product edit?
Do you use Photoshop or Painter? Or is it a bit of both?

I used a cloud texture and set it to overlay for this whole scene,but I also manually painted in some mist using a custom brush.I try not to apply too much texture to my paintings tho,tho I do attempt to put it up to create some variation.Its a cool post product edit.
I use Photoshop,not really gud with painter yet XD
